Tonight we had the Cottage Grove Police K9 unit come and give a demonstration to the pack. It was a good lesson on how the police use dogs in everyday activities. The dogs are used to hunt for missing people, investigate building alarms, search for drugs and help protect other police officers in the line of duty.
