The Halloween parade is this Saturday, October 26th. It begins at 10am at the District building right across the street from McDonalds. Since we did not get as many volunteers as expected we are planning on keeping the float simple this year. I will be bringing a few bales of hay and a small tent. We will need our pack flag and the US flag to be held by a few scouts on the float. I plan on having the trailer at the district building by 8am. Please arrive in time to assist in setting up the tent and also bring anything else that you feel would add to a cub/boy scout themed float. Arrive no later than 9:30.
Please wear your costume or scout uniform and bring candy to toss to the audience. Remember to help your scout ration what they throw. You do not want to run out before the end of the parade. Most people will walk the parade route from the District building until the parade ends at Applebees.
Immediately following the parade is another booth popcorn sale.
The next Pack meeting is Monday the 28th. All fundraiser forms and money are due! Remember to have your scout put their names on the forms and to enclose all the money collected.
This pack meeting is also a costume contest. Please wear your costume (or uniform) to be eligible to earn a prize.
Please note that the calendar has been updated, please go and download the latest copy.
